If your company has multiple products and services that compliment each other, have you thought about working with other salespeople at your company to refer business?
Once you have established a strong business relationship (with another salesperson in one or more of your company's divisions) and have verbally agreed to work with each other and refer business you could try joining each other on sales calls.
Ask your counterpart to give you a list of current clients so that you can contact their customers to introduce yourself to them (and offer your customers to them as well).
You may even want other departments within your company to join each other's sales meetings in an effort to increase synergy amongst different departments.
Send a weekly email to let other department's within your company know more about your product and/or service. You can even include possible questions in your emails that offer examples of what they could ask prospect's on sales appointments. These questions will help to inspire interest in what you have to sell and then you can contact their prospect at a later date or even join them in a future sales meeting.
