There's
an old saying, "Birds of a feather flock together." Have you heard this
saying? How can you incorporate this saying into your prospecting and
lead generation efforts? Think of your top five or so prospects and
type their names into the search box of Google.com. In order to get
specific results you may need to type their name in quotes.
Furthermore, you may want to include their company name as well. For
example, when searching online, you would type, the following: "Name of
your prospect" and "Company Name."
Why
take the time to do this? Because many times your prospect's name will
appear in online search results as being a member of a local chamber
and/or associations If this is true, then the other members (besides
your prospect) would be legitimate prospects for you, no? This is
called "The Spider Method."
